Best headset for Xbox and PC

Hi all,

What are some decent gaming headsets that will work easily for both Xbox and PC? It seems none of the new Astro's will support both platforms very easily.

Will that support voice chat on Xbox? I'm also looking for a way of having surround sound as well, similar to turtlebeaches/astros.

There is not much about that can do both easily especially if you want 5.1 sound i researched for ages gave up in the end, my ghetto solution to save cash was to buy that below for my xbox one didn't want to two headsets when my 5.1 roccat caves are still as good as new cost £30 for the decoder sounds as good as my pc when playing doom on the xbox.

no good if you want wireless though

Astro a40 or a50's would be my suggestion. I have birth and love them

hyper x's work on both for voice chat and sound.

with xbox you'd need one of these though.

i have qpad qh90's which came with one in the box, the hyper x's are essentially the same but not sure if they include one.

they are not surround sound.
