Best hitman game on the PC?

as theyre all on sale at the moment on steam, im thinking abotu buying one and its blood money but i wanted to make sure its one of the best.
i dont want them all though :cool:
 
I like the Hitman games, one of the few franchises that gets better as they release more titles.

The original was good, don't get me wrong, but difficult to get into.
 
Was blown away by the graphics of Blood Money when it first came out :) Seeing all those pedestrians in the street at the same time..
 
I am going to get them all in the steam deals i think. I have played them all in one way or another, but never completed one(i might have completed Silent Assassin)


Playing Deus Ex Human Revolution has totally reignited my love of stealth games, however i'm not sure the Hitman games are really stellthy in a way i like tbh(at least i didn't really get on with the stealth mechanics in it really.)

I am going to make a definite effort to properly get in to them though, but as said it usually just decends in to a pretty awful shoot 'em up every time for me.:D

PS I have not turned on my X-box in over 6 months, but it is staying on my shelf for when the Metal Gear HD box is reeased, i only wish they included 4 in it as i've never played it:(
 
Hitman is so awesome.

Nothing like garroting a guard with piano wire, hiding him, nicking his uniform and walking around the base like a boss :D

I got the first ones when they were released as a kid. The sense of excitement when you pull out a case, open it and assemble a sniper rifle for a strategic hit is.......unfathomable. :D Gives a whole new sense of meaning to the game compared to a shoot em up frag fest.
 
Contracts is good too, if only for the codename 47 remakes.


in blood money though there is something oddly satisfying about pulling out your silenced pistol, turn the corner and walk down the corridor towards the guy guarding the door while hiding the pistol behind your back, as you get closer and he raises his hand to tell you to stop, you click, the gun comes up and puts a round right in his eye he drops without a sound and you walk though the door and reload as you walk off :D

Blood Money is a really good game.

When you pull of a perfect assassination, it's just so satisfying, might have to play through it again.

The mission where you have to kill some people in a house, brilliant.

(Also, remember there is a mission in the credits at the end :o)
 
Blood Money, though it's showing it's age now. Bought it on steam in a sale and was shocked at how dated it's starting to look. But don't let that put you off playing it, it's class :)
 
Hitman 5 was due to be released around xmas time this year but i believe its been put back such a shame i am really looking forward to this an absolute masterpiece of a game!

I didn't know about this, so can't be too sad about it being put off. Already can't wait though, these games are amazing, there's been nothing like it.
