So Looks like I am in the market for a new case, what can people recommend?

Ive looked at the some xigmatx ocuk Lian Li and LD cases however they all have a differing range of features some seem very expensive for not allot of features.

Obviously these are a serious amount of case and will cost lots but would be interested to here peoples views.

Ive been looking at these

Link 1

Link 2 cheaper but not sure It has the features I want

Link 3 - expensive and not sure Im really getting moneys worth here

Well there's two things here I guess....

Lian Li make high quality cases. They're highly regarded as the best quality case manufacturer actually. But that does tend to mean cases come at a premium price and lack some features.....

To be honest, if you want the best feature rich case, that will take anything you throw at it, the Xigmatek Elysium is your best bet, especially cost wise as well. It's relatively cheap, it's packed with a good array of features, and it's massive so will happily take HPTX...

Ive currently got the Lian li in my sig and Im not very impressed with it, mainly that it resonates. Ive got a similiar issue with the p70b? (irrc) which i use for my homeserver.

Ideally, I need the case to be good at air cooling and be able to take water should I wish to. It needs to take at least 3x 5.25s no 3.5's needed as i use a 5.25 4x2.5 caddy.

Short term i needs to take 2x h50s my sr-2 and the above, long term I plan to water cool with at least 4x120 worth of rad so. It also needs to be able to be quite when I am working.

I hear the xigmatek is good and at the money its hard to look at any other option! I could also add the ocuk tech labs dampening pack to let it run quieter. Plus it has lots of rad space.

The larger Lian li's I love the look of but the cost puts me off and my experiance with resonance has made me very skeptical. The Cubtec Tank looks great and very like the Lian li but cheaper however they are hard to come by and I still cant see the benefits over the xigmatek
