Currently have a pair of Sony MDR-EX650's and Shure SE315's which are being returned as they are faulty, however I did find these a bit short on bass at times, however the soundstage on them were incredible.

What would you recommend for up to £200-220 for the best IEM's?

The MDR-EX650's are nice but i've got the upgrade itch and will probably pass these on to a family member.

You're not a million miles away from custom IEMs at that budget, I'd probably recommend that you hold off and get some made if you can.

The MEE Audio Pinnacle P1s are very well reviewed at £180
The Dunu DN-2000J is also a great IEM and at £229 is a snip.

pinnacle p1's get a lot of love recommend keeping an eye on massdrop though UK prices suck

I upgraded from the Sony MDR-EX650 to the Sennheiser IE80, and it is a huge step up and it has much better bass as well. I am so happy with the IE80 that I no longer have an itch in trying to find something better, knowing that it would be diminish return even if spending £500+.

I got mine at £170 during Black Friday though, not sure if you can find one at sub £200 now...

Yep IE80's certainly pack a punch

Keep an eye on Amazon prices

Thank you all for the replies and suggestions!

I think the IE80's are my choice, just gonna wait for prices to drop a bit then order a pair I think.

I've also seen Audio Technica have ETH-50's coming to the UK soon, and the Sony H3's, how would they compare?
