At the moment I am using Adium but it not updating pictures of my buddies and not display some of them as they should So I guess Adium is not good at doing this.

Is MSN Messenger really that bad for Mac or what others shall i try

messenger for mac isn't bad it is a couple of versions behind the Windows one but its OK.

Seems to disconnect a lot when I'm using it, it also doesn't have support for webcams.

MSN has been patched recently - it's now a Universal Binary. It was PowerPC using Rosetta last time I checked which was around August.

I love adium, works lovely here - could do with webcam support.

AMSN and Mercury are great for webcam but rubbish at anything else :(

Hmm wonder what to try first.

Msn Messenger saying I have to have some other things installed according to their site..

Anyone using aMSN then is it any good. Or should i just stick with Adium

AMSN doesn't seem to fit in very well looks wise, adium is very well integrated with OSX.

AMSN just has funny issues that the contact list is minimised the chat windows won't accept keyboard input - it just looks "tackier"

Cant believe there is no good im that is good at doing everything i need one that can do video too. msn messenger doesnt. adium doesnt. what other choice then apart from aMsn and Mercury

If you just want a decent client for msn on your mac then the official msn messenger for mac has nothing wrong with it, it's stable and it has all the basic features. no webcam support but thats life....

I'd give it a go...
