Cheap enough these days to rent your own webspace tbh. If these 'restrictions' are that onerous (imgur, really??). One shared server over several domains gives me not only a place to host uncensored imagery but also several Exchange servers. Cost is less than £20 a month and worth every penny imo.

Tinypic, or imgur with the right click extension for me. I use Photobucket for things occasionally but their bandwidth allowance on the free membership is pathetic.

Interested in this, as ImageShack has gone paid, we'll I can still use them though apps, but the images don't resize anymore.

So any with w8(metro) and wp8 apps, that also have the ImageShack style of resize to xxxx

How do you set these up?

I have a hosting package from Vidahost with some websites on it but nothing else, I'm probably very naive about all that I can do with the service.

Is it still as anonymous as, say, an Imgur account?

Photobucket is awful. They don't give images enough bandwidth so after a couple of views it magically disappears.

You don't really need to set anything up, just copy the image files to the servers public html directory and then your link to the images will be domainname/image.jpg

As for anonymous I'm not sure what you mean.

Imageshack has always been really slow for me.

Imgur is great. Especially with the Chrome extension as others have mentioned. You can resize after upload. But if you want to batch upload and resize all the images then you need an account (which is free).

What about resizing and automatic BB code?

Really you'd need a some form of digital asset management software installed and vidahost don't support that on their shared servers.
