As above whats the best image mounting tool?
Free obviously and also i heard the newever version of daemon tools come packed with spyware is this true?

Kind of true, but when installing you can simply uncheck the extra programs it tries to install.

it can occasionally throw a wobbly, if you mount a new image without unmounting the previous one, but otherwise its small and just works

I installed Daemon tools the other, unticked everything except Daemon and its worked fine. With no spyware or anything dodgy

Virtual Clone Drive works fine under windows 7.

Does VCD allow sharing optical drives over a network? I remember installing a program a while back which enabled this (very useful for netbooks!).

Just trying VCD now considering most people here recommend it over Daemon Tools. However, I don't like the way you have to either set VCD to the default program for ISOs/other images or "Open With" > "VCD".

Is there any way to get the mount option on the right click menu?

I see on their website there is supposed to be a right click tool. I guess I'll reboot.
