Best image viewer for windows?

Hi,

I currently use irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) to view images in. Is there anything better?

I work daily with lots of high (kinda high anyway) resolution images, so speed is most important (which is why i don't use the default windows one! So slow!!). But it would be nice if it had more features than irfanview (Which basically only have prev/next and slideshow. Maybe something to "favourite" folders or photos or something?

the picassa photo viewer is quite nippy, worth a try

I like Faststone Maxview 2.1 (no longer freeware) or if speed is important try FastPictureViewer.
