Best internet based FAX service?

Need to dip back into the 90's for a bit here and send someone a fax. Rather than pay a local shop for the service does anyone know of a reliable on-line based service they've used and can recommend? Have a scanner here so no problems with that aspect. Only need to send 4-5 pages s a one of thing.

Do most printers not double as fax machines these days? I know mines does.

Need a phone line connection for that? Which mine doesn't have.
the 'Fax' aspect of it relies on a web service to function was my understanding?

We use eFax at work as a bolt on to some custom software and it seems to be OK. They have a 30 day trial that might fit the bill. But it would be worth making sure they don't automatically opt you in for a long term contract at the end of it.
