Best Internet only deal?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I'm looking for the best Internet only deal for a friend. He would need to get the line activated as he doesn't currently have a landline.

Most deals I see are offering TV with it or asking silly prices.

LLU offers are usually the best bet, do an exchange search on Sam Knows and see if anyone has unbundled his exchange (keep in mind that Sam Knows is often a bit behind these days)

Depends on how he wants to pay LL rental.
Some companies offer a discount if you pay the year upfront.
Theres also lesser known companies that will do monthly LL rental for as low as £7, I would however check with your decided ISP wether they can use this line, don't see why not tho.

What is your friend wanting the BB for, is he a heavy downloader? If so sky may be the best choice as they have NO Traffic Management or throttling whereas most of the other offerings do.

Not sure if the offer is still running but I got an unlimited connection with Sky that, combined with their first 6 month half price discount and £80 cashback from quidco, is costing me around £12/month over the first year including line rental with no activation charge.

Oh and i got a £25 M&S voucher.

There's the current sky offers from Topcashback, unfortunately the larger cashback values are only on bundles For the additional £100 cashback it may be worth your friend taking ont eh TV and stuff also £106.05 Cashback AND £100 M&S Voucher

SKY appears to be offering good deals on landline and internet especially during december periods (6 months free or £100 as of last year)...check their site out.
