Best iOS Email App?

Hey all,

I use my iPhone for personal and business uses, and so have a few email accounts I use at the same time.

All this time I've been using just the standard iOS mail app, but I wondered recently if there were other apps that would work better for multiple accounts. (Gmail & Microsoft Exchange in particular)

What iOS mail app do you use? And why is it better than the default mail app?

Thanks,
Marky

I am forced to use the Outook app for work e-mails on a managed iPad. I find it terrible...

I have rules set up to automatically move emails based on sender / subject etc. However, I cannot get notifications when an email is received in a folder other than the Inbox.

Any suggestions or what is everyone else doing?

I've used the Apple mail client, Inbox and Outlook all extensively and I'd rate the Apple bottom. Not to say it isn't acceptable just Google's does gmail superbly and outlook it great for work emails.

I'd agree with this. I've never been able to get on with Apple Mail either on my Mac or iOS. Gmail is a great app but Outlook is pretty good too.

Canary is decent to use and, importantly for me, supports PGP/GPG and s.mime encryption out of the box. While you can buy GPG Tools for macOS (and I did), the implementation on iOS is trickier and requires a separate app to encrypt and decrypt mails. Canary Mail (iOS) has the same inbuilt encryption tools, certificates (and iCloud sync) as the macOS version. Win.
