Best iOS password manager

Hi!

I'm looking for a password management application that's right for me.

I want the app to have an option that I can keep my passwords database on my icloud drive storage.

It is important that the autofill works just as easily as with the keychain, so it offers the user name above the keyboard and after clicking on the faceID, check my face and paste the password immediately.

I would like the app with one-time purchase.

Last but not least, I want to keep my password safe.

What do you reccomend?

What you've described is already built into the OS.

Or you can use 1Password.

If I didn't already have nearly five hundred entries in 1Password, I'd probably be quite happy with the built in password manager although the 2FA part of 1Password is very nice.

Yeah having 2FA saved in the cloud as part of 1Password is nice, having the entries show on my Apple Watch is also useful, 1Password is definitely worth the subscription cost, plus the developers are always quick to update to the new features as Apple updates their OS every year.

I believe the built in one uses your keychain which is how it syncs between devices.

I tend to use Bitwarden across iOS/Android/Windows and it works very well.

LastPass, it is cross platform with extensions for all the major browsers.

Yes LastPass does and it’s cross platform. It has its own 2FA. Not sure about YubiKey.

LastPass does support YubiKey but requires a premium subscription which is $3 a month. I did use the premium service so I could use my YubiKey and also the mobile app but once the mobile service became free I ended my premium subscription.

You can use the Authy app https://authy.com/ on your mobile device to generate a 2FA code which is what I do now.

LastPass is well worth the subs. You can add as an extension to IOS so it autofills the same way that keychain does with the added benefit of cross platform support on any device
