As title suggests, what is the best I can get for my money. I do a bit of gaming and photo work so looking for something in the middle in regards to that aspect.

Hope you can help. Cheers. :)

970 at the moment, but looking to upgrade to the 1070 or possibly 1080Ti if it shows up in the next six months.

Was looking at the Dell Ultrasharp 27" tho it seems to be forever out of stock. That BenQ looks nice. :)

I am currently looking at new monitors and have a 1070, I would say if you are looking to ungrade to a 1070/80. Then you need to be looking at a 1440 monitor, these are the ones I have been looking at and have the same budget as you.

Out of the 3 I am thinking of the Dell U2715H or the AOC agon, I just can't make my mind up which to go for. A pure gaming monitor and have smoother game play or go for the Dell have have better colours and better image.

And know what you mean about this section being empty :D

:p

Well I paid £384.92 to be exact. I'll live. I hope it lives up expectations and doesn't give me any dead pixel nonsense. You decided yet?

Thats still a good price....lol

I think I'm going for the Dell to, my current Dell U2312HM has been an excellent monitor and response times have not been an issue for me and I mostly play FPS games.

Let us know what you think of it, when you get it :)

Pulled the trigger on the UltraSharp U2715H. Forever out of stock here, but was able to grab from the rainforest for £390. :)

You won't be disappointed. I'm a bit late to the thread but was going to suggest the U2715H. I'm very happy with mine. If you don't need G-sync and more than 60 Hz then it's about as good as it gets for 1440p @ 27". Colours are beautiful and response time is good.

Yeah arrived today. Stunning picture and colours out the box. Really reminded me of a CRT. :) Don't lose much viewing from the sides and for non competitive gaming like Resi 4/Dark Souls 3 etc it's great.

No complaints whatsoever with it. Came out the box well calibrated and all I really had to do was turn the brightness down from 50 to 35. Stunning panel. Handles motion well and all content from SD to HD looked great.

Not bad but I would have gone the extra for the g-sync model

Well this monitor is being used with the living room PC in the corner and generally for media and browsing and I plan on a second for the study, so if you can link me to a 27" IPS with as good a picture with G-Sync then that'll do for gaming. :)

Cheers.

Glad you're enjoying yours too. The factory calibrated colour was a real selling point for me. I have a hardware calibrated Lacie monitor here and looking at the Dell sat side by side with it, the colour differences are miniscule.

I took the brightness all the way down to 25 as this is closer to print brightness (for my design work) but bump it back up a bit for films / games. The default 50 is wince inducing :)
