I had previously (still am actually) using PhotoMechanic to sort out the IPTC etc. but I don't like the lack of intergration with photoshop. Is there any program/plugin that can make the tagging and captioning easier within photoshop. The current system appears fine for single shots but tagging every driver/car no is getting tedious and it would be great if I could apply a standard tag/caption to every shot from a given corner (say for example I could type - "Car number _ rides over the curbs at silverstone" and copy this to every shot taken at that corner (within photoshop) and then fill in the gaps on export? Then it would only be certain shots like "Mark McDonald spins the McDonalds buggy at BurgerKing corner on Lap 15" etc.

Could I do this in bridge? (I don't use bridge ATM - just PhotoMechanic and a basic folder structure...)

Are there any plugins that allow me to do this with speed? PhotoMechanic is great but it just lacks the intergration with CS...

Thanks,

Yes you can apply IPTC info to multiple files in Adobe Bridge. Just load the Metadata workspace, select the files, type in your info and hit apply.
