ok... just had my new line installed, and im after an isp for it...

in your opinion, whos the best to go with??

heard lots of good about UKFSN, but are they really he best to go with??

any opinions/advise welcome

Getting switched to UKFSN tomorrow, supposed to be great by all accounts, plus the contracts monthly, so when BeUnlimited start here end of May i can easily jump onto them if i want to. :)

Got connected to UKFSN today, straight in at 6mb solid, cracking so far, took me about 5 secs, turned my PC on when i got up, no net, checked my router config, and some settings had gone, so put in my new username/password, the 2x DNS servers and hit connect, and voila jobs a good'un.

ok... now i have another problem... ive tryed registering with ukfsn and aquiss, but they both say that i allready have a broadband service on the line.

the fact is, i dont. its a brand new line, and BT says its clear. why would nearly all sites be saying that i have something there?

Anyone got a link to the 'Be' forum? I'm sure someone said there was one?

Would like to have a peek before I move over :)

Ta ever so!!!

have to subscribe to BE for entry to the forum.

BE is top if you can get it. Use it at work

NTL is very good as well (dont laugh), been with them years, only ever had 1 major problem with them & they gave me 6 months free when I said I wanted to leave

I wouldn't laugh mate I've been with them for 5 years and the service has been very good, had to odd billing issue and a 6 month period where the NET was up and down like no one's business but overall they have been quite well..!!

Of late my connection seem to be getting flakey again and 'Be' was enabled in my exchange at the end of last year so I'm thinking about a move, heard more good than bad and there hasn't been that many bad really so I may call this weekend and get the ball rolling.

May I ask? If I have a BT line with no old Broadband connection on it, how long would it take to get 'Be' activated on that line? So I can judge my NTL cancellation period (30 days I think) .......?
