My 4 Year old LG 55" TV has just given up and JL have said I can pick another for £700 (I got a deal on the original) There isn't really anything I fancy there for this price so don't mind spending a bit more. Is there a clear winner there for around £1000?

The ones I am looking at are:
LG 55SJ850V
Samsung UE55MU7000HDR
Sony XE8596

This will be my main TV wall mounted in my lounge. I don't actually have a 4K source at the moment apart from Netflix but will be used to watch SKY Q as I am getting this installed next week (non 4K)

Whats the best out of these 3 or am I missing something?

I'll sum up all 3 with pro's and cons.

Sony - Very good build quality, they put a lot of time and quality into their tv's but they are usually overpriced.
Samsung - Terrible build quality however the panels are usually the best for the money, if you get a well made one that is.
LG - Best build quality and best built in sound, best built in smart tv and best viewing angles. However black levels aren't the lowest so they never review well and they use fake virtual HDR (8bit with dithering)

Cool thanks!

I ended up with the Sony as where the inputs on it are suits where my cables are coming out of the wall! (obvs the worst reason ever) I also managed to get JL to match the price of another company which meant it was the same price as the other 2 in the end.

It seems really good. I'm not massively convinced I can tell the difference between normal 4K and HDR if I'm honest but the picture is good and the interface is nice and quick.

Thanks for the help
