No Goalkeepers have really stood out for me this year, I voted for Ruddy because he has had to take the step up to the highest level of English football and despite having a **** defence infront of him, hasn't conceeded that many goals. His performance against Arsenal is a great example of how well he has adapted to the new difficult challenge of the Prem.

Have I read that correct, Cech shouldn't be able to wear the cap because it gives him an advantage over other keepers? What advantage is that, synthetically reduced probability of getting his skull caved in?

Actually I agree, I vote we remove Cech and his performance enhancing cap from the running :p.

Nice to see people aren't just voting for their team's player. Makes a change. :)

I'll go with Cech overall, he's a fantastic keeper. I think Jaaskeleinen deserves to be on that list though, I don't get why he's never played at a bigger club than Bolton.

For right or wrong, I still dont think Cech should be allowed to wear the skull cap indefinitely. If he is physically fit enough to be in goal, he shouldnt have any advantage over any other g/k - and if he isnt fit enough, he shouldnt be there in the first place ( while he was recovering from the initial injury, thats one thing......but as an additional piece of kit indefinitely, definitely not)

nice

Hart. Cech used to be up there but it's hard to tell how good keepers at the top of the prem are because of how good the rest of the team infront of them are. Given/friedel/foster/Howard/vorm/krul are all outstanding goalkeepers

13 votes each for De Gea, Szczesny and Krul nd no one has posted in the thread naming them, fans voting for their keeper at it's best.
