I voted for Szczesny, any Keeper who can play for the last 5 weeks without training is doing something right in my books.
He also pulled off one the best Penalty saves I've ever seen vs. Udinese

Al Habsi, considering the defence he's worked behind this season hes been outstanding, made a few mistakes but hes had a lot of work to do.

Sad thing is, only one English man on the list.......least he is the best!

There's two, but I agree, Ruddy is the best ;)

I'm still undecided on Joe Hart, he hasn't been called into action very often so haven't really seen his potential much. Don't see how De gea has so many votes, he was shocking throughout the start of the season and even now still looks weak and is unable to manage his defence and his area.

EDIT: And Raina has also been fairly poor this season, he only has more votes than the likes of Vorm because he plays for one of the big teams..

I've yet to vote yet but my vote in all likely hood would go to Reina, not because he plays for Liverpool (let's face if it there were to be one thing in favour of not voting for him then this would be it :p) but because despite a dodgy season he's proven over the past 6 years that he's one of the best in the world (arguably the best)

Strange so many have grievances with people voting for De Gea though and yet not a word about Chesney getting a similar amount of votes (for the record I like Chesney also)

I'm surprised at the number of votes for Cech considering it isn't this season only, he has been shocking the past few years until recently.

For me Reina has always been one of the top keepers, without ever being the single best keeper. With De Gea, I can see why people would think his very dodgy start rules him out for the vote at this moment in time.

My vote went to Hart btw.

Fourteen people have voted for De Gea?

12 people voted for Reina

I voted for Szczesny, but I've already said before I have somewhat of a man crush on him. Other than that I'd say it's a close call between Friedel, Hart and Cech.

Should be an "Other" option like the other polls, how Shay Given who along with Friedel has arguably been one of the best Prem keepers this millenium can be left out is beyond me. Four on that list have only played one season (not saying that should necessarily mean they are excluded but equally can we really say De Gea has proven himself to be better than Given yet?)

Hart has been magnificent for Man city this season !
Our beloved Reina has had his worst season since he joined the team. Some shockers...

Its laughable...sorry OP no Given on a best GK overall (not just based on this season alone) is unforgiveable...

and De Gea hahaha! Its amazing how suddenly some keepers are potential world class when they move to a big club...

De Gea is **** in my personal opinion...doesnt command the box at all...flaps at everything looks nervous...rubbish at crosses Gets plaudits because he gets in the way of the ball...

Heck i'd put Gordon ahead of him and he hasnt been playing at all :D

1. Given
2. Friedal
3. Czech

You do realise that De Gea was potential world class before Man Utd paid any interest in him?

I don't think he's the best in the league at this stage, but hey.. He's 21 years old, that's very, very young to be playing for a top team. Give him some time, he'll come good.
