So looking on iFixit I need a variety of Torx bits, including T9 and TR6 for my 2014 mini, but T6 & T8 for the 2010 mini.

So, I've had a look on the rainforest and there are plenty of kits of varying quality; but none of them seem to have the 'latest' TR6 Torx instead it's the T6 one which is different.

It seems that maybe the iFixit kit may be my best bet, but the average cost for the majority of unbranded kits is £6/7 whereas theirs is £17.99. More than happy to pay it but if there is similar quality for cheaper then worth a punt as won't be used more than a handful of times.

Any ideas?

edit - went onto the iFixit site and ordered from there. Had a £5 off voucher so came to ~£20 with the additional tools I wanted.

What about the issue with fan speed when replacing with a non Apple hard disc ?

Just as a follow up in case anyone else tries it with these models. It took me maybe half an hour each one (I like to put screws in order with notes) but was relatively easy and have had no fan issues since upgrading. Both units have improved drastically.

The ifixit kit is fantastic.
