Best lappy out there for £300?

A lady friend of mine is looking to purchase pronto and wants to order it before the end of the week.

The brief -

15'6 screen
Internet
iTunes
Photo storage

I have absolutely no idea what to recommend as I have never owned one. I think she may be pushing it on the price though for that size screen.

Any recommendations?

Seem that a couple of high street retailers have between 5% - 8% codes off as well so she will be able to stretch to £330.00 or thereabouts.

Refurbs are generally ok?

Most people who come into my store with a faulty online purchase bring in refurbed lappys. In theory there shouldn't be a problem, but they do seem to come back more than non-refurbs.
