Best Laptop £1000 +-

Dear Friends,

I used to be an avid gamer until one a half year ago switched over to iMac, mainly for graphic design.. However, recently my inner demons are coming back, haunting me!

I haven't got the space for a desktop, as my iMac takes up most of the space. So that only leaves me with an option of a laptop. What's the best laptop money can buy for around £1000?

If you're into gaming I'd suggest looking at a GTX1070 laptop but that might stretch your budget, GTX1060's are around your budget (Look for 6GB version). CPU wise it'd be an i7 7700HQ or perhaps an 8th Generation. And 8GB ram, but again I'd recommend 16gb ram.

I'd say configure your own, or pick up an outlet model in that price-range.

I would just get an eGPU. No point wasting your money on components you won't be using.

I'd look for a 15" 1060 with an i7-8750H (6c12t) and 16GB of RAM (2x8GB as you want dual channel).
