Best laptop £400 - £500 budget

My laptop was stolen last month. I've just had a cheque from the insurers so I'm looking to buy a new one. What is the best laptop available in this range? I'm looking for a core 2 duo, 2gb ram, a 250gb hard with a 15" screen.

No, games aren't important to me as I have a well equipped main computer for the home.

Advent 5302 should match your budget from the purple shirts; they're reasonably reliable, T5550 C2D, 2GB and 250GB, or a 5401 which has 3GB of RAM, same HD and processor, and a 8400 chip for £450.
