For my dad to browse the net word docs etc, or is there any better deals for the money?

they are as good as youll get for 400 , infact i never even realised you could get that good for 400!

top one has better spec and is cheaper

both will do what he wants flawlessly

remember to factor in the price of office if you need it. i probably wouldnt spend 400quid for word proccesing and internet though but thats just me

Sorry they ae without VAT so just over £500 :(

Update in the end got him the follwing

V1500 CORE 2 DUO T7250 2.00GHz,800,2M
