Well whats the best Laptop for £350....there must be something

Probably one of the cheap Dells. Don't expect anything amazing, but they're decent low-end systems.

picked up a T2080 @ 1.73ghz with 2gig ram and 80gb hdd cd/dvd writer for about that price.

wouldnt expect massive of graphics card, or storage for that price.
