Best Laptop for around £600

Hi Everyone

Well pretty much as the title says, I'm looking for a laptop for around £600(inc vat).

Mainly using it for basic functions such as surfing, but might play a few games on it.

I have been looking at a few but want to know your knowledgeable opinions.

P.S. Know a decent amount about Desktops but can't say the same about the laptops.

I think you will be stuck on pretty basic games, I have a dell D820, dual core, 4Gb RAM and 512 GPU and game performance is pretty poor unless I play at 800 x 600, even the Alienware laptops with SLI are only getting average fps rates

The Dell Vostro 1500 I'm looking at is pretty well specced for 600, nVidia 8600, Core2Duo processor, 2 gig RAM... Comes in at just under 600 including VAT and delivery

I was looking at the Vostro 1500, looks like a decent laptop.
