Best laptop with poo gfx game?

Well I have an Advent Laptop: 1.86ghz, 1gb RAM and ATi Xpress 1250 integrated graphics (up to 256mb)

I also have FM2008 just for the lappy, tis great fun :) Another couple of old gems you need to have are Worms Armegeddon and Hogs Of War. The latter is a great classic!! Rik Mayall rocks!! Also you have to have Command And Conquer Generals Deluxe Edition.

Trackmania United Forever and Worms 4: Mayhem just about work at low settings/resolutions. Found out that Half Life 2 runs relatively smooth on direct x 6 :D

One game that def isn't worth trying is Battlefield 2, was too choppy for me. Team Fortress 2 wasn't worth it either.

To be honest, the good thing about most games is that they have a demo, so its worth downloading it and trying it out...

Lol...BF2.

I tried running that on my Acer laptop with ATI xpress 1100 gfx....with hypermemory set to 64mb:D but it does have a fairly quick 2ghz Athlon64 CPU, so i thought i give it a go...

800x600, everything set to minimum ( and i do mean everything)...and ONLY playing on 16 player Karkand and i was getting........10fps..:D

Currently playing (with very good framerates (30-60fps) and everything pretty much set to high except AA) on the same Laptop..

GTA 3
System Shock 2
Ghost Recon
UT2004 (very surprised at how well this plays, good old CPU bound Unreal engine..:))
Trackmania.
Day Of Defeat
CS 1.6

Depends whether you have a proper mouse or are using the touch pad really. Just a pad, and you can ignore any FPS or RTS recommendations.

As recommended above, Black & White.
I've not run into any of the save issues mentioned and it's still a good enough game to pass some serious time.
Just makes sure you patch it up, for the love of God! Not patching Black & White is pure 'game doesn't actually work' wrongness.

pfft..

When I had an iBook at uni, I completed RtCW on hard using the trackpad :D
