Best LARGE mousepad?

Thinking either: Roccat Taito King Size or Steelseries Qck Heavy

Probably not the Boogie Bug XL because it is just TOO big for my desk

All thoughts welcome!

I've used the qck heavy and it's quite decent. Personally I prefer solid mouse mats though, but for a fabric one it's decent

I really liked my Everglide Titan. They used to do an XL sized one, but don't see them around that much anymore.

Agree with this. I went from an Everglide Titan to a Q-pad hard mat, far smoother surface.

Yes, I have the medium sized one. Want a large one but can't find anywhere!

Generally ones that are stocked on OcUK would be preferable

Had a belekin gelwrist one for tenner but the gel leaks so been using on its side (not great). So bought other day from ocuk the ambi xl boogie pad thingy. It will do for rests for wrists with keyboard as well as mouse and hopefully be nice to use with the diamondback 3g mouse i have. It might have to go under my 19" crt (to right of my mouse atm) as well as its huge apparently.

I got one of the Rocaat Taito ones the other week and have been really impressed with it. It's a fabric mouse mat. It just does what it says on the tin

I've got a smaller version of the steel series.

Quality is very good. Price is also very good. Nice and smooth, but not ridiculously fast. Washable. Corners haven't curled after nearly a year's use.

Highly recommended. I'll buy another one in about 5 years when this one wears out.

Sainsbury's teflon baking sheet.
£3 iirc and was bought years ago and still superb.

I thought the Goliathus was a terrible mat.

Mine de-laminated in no time at all compared to my Q-Pad XL which was still fine after years.

Boogie bug all the way though tbh. If it's too big for the OPs desk, he should just cut it to size.

I have a Titan on my desk. Hard to get hold of now, have they gone bust?

Pity really, great mats which have been serving me well for the last 6 years.

I have the XL Fnatic one, it's a good mat. Had it for a few years and for a cloth mat it's still looking mint, no fraying or anything. Only problem is slight discolouring where my wrist goes but I simply handwash it every few months

Could always just buy Boogie Bug XL and slice it up which will equal 2 mouse mats.

I just got SteelSeries 4HD Hard Plastic Gaming Mouse Pad which is pretty amazing. Its like grit over small distances and then ice for longer pushes. Just the way it should be and £12 was a bargain.

Now that is thinking outside of the box. I was looking at one while shopping yesterday and all I thought was 'that will make cooking a bit easier'.

I might grab one shopping next week as my desk surface is getting a bit worn

Buy one and cut it in half

. Then go round the freshly cut edges with a lighter or match to stop them fraying.
