Guys, as you know Win 10 is now on the scene and i was wondering which Linux Distro is the best to use which is most user friendly / compatible?

Asking which distribution is the best is like asking which car manufacturer is the best :p Everyone has something they like about different distributions.

Mint cinnamon is good though, threw it on the gf's laptop so she can use it without waiting 10 minutes for windows to load. Personally I use arch. My servers have centos. They're all good :D

I know but who else to ask except you guys. I have no clue about any of the distros. It is a very long time since i used Linux.

Mint is a good one, I prefer the XFCE version though.
Peppermint OS 6 is another real good one for beginners, it's based on Mint also.

It's the exact same OS, just a different desktop environment.
It's a little lighter, and so faster, I just prefer the white style instead of the dark grey from cinnamon.

XFCE

Cinnamon

Depends what you're after really. If you'd like to stick to the Windows layout as much as possible then Mint would be one suggestion. If you'd like look and feel of a mac then Elementary would be one to consider.
