love the fact i can stream from my windows pc to a steam os pc, gonna make my media pc so much better and cheaper too.

As I commented above a lot of games on Steam only run on windows. So unless Valve are going to somehow make them work with their OS then there won't be that many games for Steam OS.

Looked at the info for Steam OS and Valve say you will be able to stream games. Can't really see that working for any sort of online game.

Why not? Remember it's only streaming over a local network, which assuming you have a wired network ought to be plenty fast enough
