Best lounge in Gatwick South?

Flying out from there in Feb and was wondering if there is a particular lounge which is better than the others? I've seen the Clubrooms pop up a few times in recommendations but wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of them?

I went to the No.1 Lounge last month at silly o’clock, 6 am or something. I was very tired from no sleep and 4hrs drive from home so was just glad to have somewhere to get coffee, hot food and place to freshen up.

It was fine, being so early I didn’t see out the window because it was pitch black. Not really the best lounge, a little dated, chairs and tables a bit worn, my table wobbled. It’s also not that big.

Would I recommend it? No…I think I would try the Clubroom next time.

If you're traveling at peak time, don't expect to get in. The queues can be horrific.
