dave im putting it in a Cooler Master MasterBox 5 Case and im going to be getting an i5 6600k. Atm i dont know how to overclock but i will be giving it a try so i'd say yes i will be overclocking it
Any reason you need a low profile cooler? It looks like the Masterbox 5 can take up to 167mm height coolers which would take even the massive Noctua NH D15 and other similar large 140mm fan coolers.
Keeps a slightly overclocked i7-2600K very cool, and looks great (IMHO). Did take up most of the ITX board when installed and makes access to RAM and plugs on the board difficult, but I was expecting that.
That said, as Dave said, any reason you're looking for a low-profile cooler when the case doesn't require one? There are easier to live with options in the non-low-profile department.
guys my bad i must have been looking at a different case and thinking its the masterbox 5 oooooppppss. That being said ill be going for a larger cooler ive always liked noctua coolers or be quiet coolers. i was looking at the scythe big schuriken rev 2 low profile cooler before i knew ide totally messed up with dimentions
