im looking for an matx board that will go with a 2180, it will be used as a htpc as well as a light gaming rig for when my brothers come round. it will have 2x1gb ram and a 1950 pro.

im looking at the asus p5k vm, is this any good? whats it like for overclocking?

I would say go with the P5K-VM in this case.

I normally suggest the GA-G33M-DS2R but I think it has divider issues with 800FSB processors. It'll make it tricky to overclock unless you're going for really good RAM.

Although there is an nVidia board that's a good performer, WJA96 has one so i'd urge you to wait for him to stumble across the thread. :)
