Well I just got my ducky as my first mechanical keyboard, all I can say is that I think its slightly to high. But its coming from me who use flat keyboards.
I use this both at work and for gaming, the red mechanical switch is a good all round Cherry switch for Mechanical keyboards, and its below £70, I've reviewed this also, hope this helps link for the review is below
The above offerings are very good if you want tenkeyless (no numpad) but there was an offer floating about for the CM Storm Quick Fire Pro for £60 if you need a numpad. You'll have to google but should be easy enough to find.
I am in the same boat, new to mechanical keyboards and don't really want to spend above £70. I would ideally like a numpad so have narrowed it down to the Qpad MK-50, Cm Storm Quick Fire Pro or the Ducky Dk2108 which can all be had for £60-£70, just not sure which to go for out of those.
I have a ducky and if I was in the market for buying a keyboard i would get a ducky again.
I do like things which are understated and not flashy but I think between them all for the average person they are 99% all the same so choose the keys you want and buy the one you like the look of.
Well guys, i went for the corsair vengeance k65! Arrived this morning and all i can say is that its amazing! the difference between a mech keyboard and a normal one is insane!
