I want to get the best memory I can and am confused over the FSB -> CPU timings , if I get an intel and clock it to pieces, what's the best memory to get.

The official 'supported' memory ' present is 667, but intel FSB is 1066.

if you clock and intel processor of FSB 1006 I assume the FSB changes so what memory do you get ?

DDR2-800 , DDR2-1000 , DDR2-1066, DDR2-1200, DDR2-1333, i'm very confused.

i think from what i've seen DDR2 - PC9000 is the highest so far 1200mhz, but what's best for either an amd AM2 6000+ or QX6700 processor, or even a C2D6600 OC'd

I've been told AMD am2 doesn't OC very well, so am I stuck with DDR2-800 for AMD AM2 platform ?

all help understanding very much appreciated
