upgrading my motherboard, gfx and ram but keeping my cpu for now

cpu is 3500 venice which is 100% prime stable at 2.57 and gaming stable up to 2.65.

currently run 2x512 geil ultra platinum 4200 with cpu at 265x10

want to upgrade to 2 gig ram so I am looking at pc4000 to hopefully run at 250x10.5 if possible or 257x10 if I can overclock the ram a bit

the two choices based on my price range that I can see are

corsair xms4000 2x1gig
gskill pc4000 2x1gig

both are 3,4,4,8

Any recommendations for either?
Is either known to clock better than the other?
Any known compatibility issues with either the asus a8n's or dfi nforce4 boards? (not decided which of these yet, don't need sli.)
Has anyone got any other ram recommendations that I've not seen ?(I don't want to spend much in excess of £150)

Thanks

I ended up with the dfi ultra d. Does that affect the recommendations?

A few comments I have heard of with corsair on this board involve manually setting speeds rather than doing it by spd. Are there any other issues?

np's mate thanks for the reply. i went for the dfi just incase I pick up an opteron and it was slightly cheaper than the asus.

I think the gskill is the one I'll go for given your comments, what I have heard so far and the price.

Not installed the board yet but do you know of any probs before I start with the geil ultra plat I have at present.

Thanks for helping me with this as I don't have the time at present to do much searching (6 month old baby and all that).
