Best memory for this...

So I'm pretty much set on this bundle;

Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H-BK - i7 4790K CPU & Motherboard Bundle

And I've seen the below RAM recommended quite a bit. Would it be the best choice? I've never used Kingston before. Just want to be sure before I pull the trigger this week. I'm open to spending a bit more if it's justified. My use for the system will be a mix of graphics/video and gaming.

That is a bit bonkers, but I can see the appeal. I like these purple ones, is that not a current model, as I can't seem to see it?

Actually it's odd because the video on the product page here seems to show purple, but that colour isn't listed??

The yellow on the ram makes me think those could be the range designed for the Mpower motherboards.

But that is yellow light.

The two I listed should look good, the blitz with the gold bits on it may help match the boards few hints of gold on the heatsinks.

Yeah, I actually don't know about the yellow/gold. Can't say it would be my first choice, given I'm going for a white case. I was even thinking if there would be a safe way to 'colour in' the gold on those mbd heatsinks to change the colour somehow.

They look better. Do the 10-12-12-31 Timings, 1.60-1.65v VDIMM on the Avexir & TeamGroup vs 11-13-13-31 Timings, 1.55-1.65v VDIMM on the Kingston make ANY real world difference?

Nope, you will need a benchmark to see any gain.
