Hey,

Will make it as understandable as possible!

I live in a 3 storey house. The house has underfloor heating which no Wi-Fi or 4G/5G signal penetrates.

Office is on the Lower Ground Floor needing the fastest speed.

Previously using Powerline adapters but speed max 20Mbps on anything other than the lower floor.

Have just had Ethernet wired in, all comes into the office on the lower floor and then a single point on the ground floor and upper floor. Also have a cabin around 40m from the house - this just needs to receive enough bandwith to do streaming Netflix/Amazon/Disney etc

I am currently using the original BT Whole Home mesh network but have found it insufficient and problematic, it also does not reach the cabin.

I am thinking a 3 pack system. Main wired internet coming into the office, to a switch which then has the ethernet cables from the ground and upper floor plugged in.

So 1 mesh product on the ground floor plugged into the ethernet, 1 on the upper floor again plugged into ethernet and then thinking the 3rd in the cabin just to make it stable but more range than the curent BT solution needed.

I am getting FTTP in the next couple of months (900Mbps) so want to make sure the speeds can keep up or at least get 50% of said speed everywhere but the office where full speed is required.

Looking at all the mesh kits they range from £150 - £1500. I basically just want the easiest plug and play solution without needing to take out a loan to meet my requirements!

Any help appreciated.

I use Netgear Orbi RBR353 (3 pack solution). This is Duel band, WiFi6. One base is pluged into the Router and the other 2 are WiFi controlled placed in differnent parts of the house. I would conntect these 2 with ethernet 2 but cabling is not possible. BTW I have FTTP and the Orbi is connected straight into the ONT (which effectively is the modem)
