aye and then if your really want to rake your system through the coals give it a few hours of prime95 with furmark for the first 20 minutes.

I've personally found the inbuilt memory tester that came with Vista and 7 (F8 menu) to find the same errors as memtest. Having said that, it isnt as verbose, much easier to use though, nothing to download.

Ive had memory pass fine using Memtest86+
