Best method of getting HL2 Orange Box?

Whats the best way to get HL2 Orange Box?

I have already played it on Xbox but now have a new pc to try out, as well as PS3.

Is it cheapest and easiest to get it on Steam or online retail? Is PC verson better than PS3?
 
You missed the best price as the high street game store were selling it for £17.99 a few weeks ago!

Now it's all back to the normal £26.99 again, same as on steam so that's where I'd get it from.
 
Would get it from Steam unless you like to have a boxed copy, as some people seem to. As for PC vs PS3...well you'll no doubt get one answer from here and another from the console forum :) but PC is the correct answer.
 
I opted for the steam option on release. The download times are no problem on my connection and I like the fact that it auto updates. Also I already had Half Life 2. It noted this and allowed me to give my friend the whole game. Good for me as I feel like i've shown a good friend a great game that he might not have looked at. It's whatever suits you. The steam price worked out just over £26 for me. Whatever option you buy at its still amazing value for the quality of the games that you get.
