Best method to connect PS4 Controller to PC?

Hi all, as the title says, what is the best way to connect a PS4 controller to PC?
My upcoming PC MBoard does not have Bluetooth built in so want something that has the fastest response time.

Buy one of the slimline bluetooth adapters Gibbo sells here? If you don't have one already that is.

I really want to avoid a cable if possible.
I will mainly be using a controller for Elite Dangerous while crashed out on the couch

I'm not sure it'd work on Bluetooth, it's hard enough getting the Xbox Bluetooth controller to work on it using the correct Windows 10 update and the Bluetooth drivers.

Plus that software only covers it working through a cable too.

Windows 10,small bluetooth adapter and DS4 windows. Works perfect and bought an £8 dock to charge pad on a night
