Hi

Im looking for a quality mic that can work for gaming using push-to-talk. Im using a set of b&w 685 speakers placed on the desk. So far i've been using the mic from low end crappy headset, it is working somewhat "okay", but i keep breaking them and people do complain over static noise and low volume..

Im aware that having speakers and a mic is not optimal for gaming as the mic will pick up sounds from the speakers. Thing is i am deaf on my right ear so using a headset foris sound is a no go as i would only be able to hear sound from the left side.

Im looking for a good mic that possibly can prevent picking up to much sound from my speakers. If thats not possible then i just need whatever kind of quality mic i can get, not sure what to look for.

Maybe a table mic of somekind ?

Im willing to spend 100-150 euro if needed.

Thanks in advance

Thanks guys, awesome forum
Im looking into the blue yeti, nano and ice, the gain control on the yeti looks handy instead of having to use software i can adjust it on the fly while in game. I think i would need to get a "boom arm" for it aswell. Also looking at the audio technica 2020 usb+. There is a lot of mics out there, a bit overwhelming right now .
>>Threepwood, the mono setting would deny me the stereo aspect i think, ty anyway!

i'll get back soon when i get closer to buying the mic.
