Thinking about upgrading, first Intel in years but only really because it seems a bargain to be able to get a dual 4ghz platform!

Thinking of the aerogate water cooler, are these any good? I like the idea of them because they are convienient, I aint really into all the overclocker and water business but this just seems like an advanced cpu cooler :)

Whats the best mobo, I guess anything with the intel 975 chipset? What else would be recommended to get to 4ghz?

if you want toi push it all the way up to 4ghz
My advice would be to read through the article on tomshardware(link can be found on the OCuk page with the cpu) and get the exact same motherboard they used.

edit :

to save you the trouble of reading the article these are the recomended boards
Asus P5WD2-E Premium (Intel 975x)
Asus P5WD2-WS Premium (Intel 975x)
Asus P5WD2 Premium (Intel 955X)
Gigabyte G1975X Turbo (Intel 975X)
Gigabyte 8I955X Royal (Intel 955X)L/li>

Also I believe people have been having some success getting to 4GHz with an Asus P5P800 which uses DDR1 and AGP and can be found for as little as £25 including postage. 4GHz Dual core upgrade action lovelynice for as little as £110
