I'm building a new rig around an AMD64 X2 Dual Core 4800+ and need to know which is the best motherboard for the job. I was gonna go with the A8R-MVP/A8R32-MVP but i've been reading bad things about them so i guess there are better mobos out there. The GPU i'm getting is the X1900XTX.

Any recommendations?

I've just built a system with the 4800+ using the Asus A8R32-MVP Crossfire Deluxe. Only yesterday, so too soon to say whether there are any issues yet, seems pretty stable though.

Wouldnt mind knowing which Ati/Via motherboards are decent or stable...Getting an x1900 so probably worth going with an Ati chipset board...

got this set up from your good selves at OCuk last week aint had any probs at all with it so far, was goin to go for sli mobo, but as i was goin ati i went for the other asus one.
