Im looking to build a new PC, its been a while and as usual Im a bit stumped when it comes to motherboard choice.

Im planning on using the Intel E8200 and Im looking for a suitable motherboard. Im not planning on doing any overclocking at all, Im only concerned that the board is stable, will support the E8200 out of the box and has the space to allow a larger heatsink.

From what Ive read I guess Im looking at the P35 chipset but which board, I have no idea.

Any advice is welcome.

'All' encompases a pretty wide field to choose from though doesnt it? Ive read quite a lot of threads and I understand that most people seem to be overclocking, but surely there are still some boards I should avoid even if Im not.

What about the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L? It looks like it supports the 45nm CPUs, are there any issues with fitting larger heatsinks on this board that anyone has experienced? Im not overclocking but noise is something I want to avoid.

For my 2p worth I've got an 8200 and an Asus P5K and the board won't post. various places suggest the board needs a more up-to-date bios than the one supplied with it to recognise an 8200.

Unless you have a spare CPU to use to get the board to post so you can update the bios, the P5K doesn't support 8200 straight out of the box
