Best money management software?

Any one got any experience with these? My dad is useless at things like this so i think i'll get something to help him out at Christmas. He used to use one a long time ago but when he changed computers he didn't use it again.. think it was 'Quicken' Anyone recommend anything?

Even the old versions of MS Money are great. I'm still using Money 97 and love it.

I also use MS money due to the fact my halifax statements can be sent directly to it in MS money file format. Saves so much messing about

Are these worth buying for people who are useless with money? I mean, I'm crap with money and always have been, if I started trying to sort my finances with one of these, would it do me much good?

I dunno if they're only any good for people who actually have a lot of money to keep track of, or very little to keep track of!

a vote for ms money.......

use to use quicken..... but got converted.......

it's not just for people with money I use it and have none. it's good for budgets and seeing if you can actually afford what ever it is that you buy.
