Best monitor for 100-150 quid?

Well I got a 24" Samsung S24B300 LED 1080p monitor for £119.99 from Amazon with £20 cashback from Samsung's back to school scheme so under £100. Great monitor too!

I just recently got a 24" LG E2442V LED, can't fault it.

HDMI, DVI and VGA.

Its bright, got punchy colours, looks more expensive than it is.

Deepest blacks I've ever had from a monitor.

Comes with a environment friendly power saving mode, also the monitor goes to sleep whenever there is a all black screen which I've not had before on a monitor.

Very slim which is...good?

My only qualm is I didn't go bigger, I quite fancy a 27" now.

Don't mean to hijack thread, Cosmic, but I'm also after a monitor for around that price and at that resolution. I'm fairly well informed when it comes to other PC components, but I'm at a loss when it comes to monitors.

I've heard in the past that BenQ monitors are good and they seem to be popular among gamers/enthusiasts. Then again the LG's look nice.

Any more recommendations?
