Best monitor for £200

Samsung SM-913N . Almost no doubt about it.

That's assuming you'd like a 19inch screen. You _could_ get a slightly faster screen but 17inch, choice is yours I guess, but I'd definitely go with the 19inch.

yes im only looking for tft i get bad headaches looking a crt screens
would the Samsung SM-930BF 19" be worth the extra cash for the 4ms response time?

it's a little bit faster for gaming, but the trade off is more noise in movie playback. if you dont care about movies then the 930BF is arguably one of the best gaming screens in the market right now
 
what about the only one analogue input on the 913? wouldn't it be better to get a screen with DVI a.k.a the Neovo?
 
well im moving my pc into my bedroom so i can take out my tv/dvd etc to create some space so i would be using it t owatch dvd's and tv. if there isnt much differance to be had? i think ill stick with the first one you mentioned and save a bit of cash
 
you can save more cash and get the Neovo, which has a DVI input. I see a lot of people thinking monitors are not worth buying unless they have DVI but i'm yet to experience DVI myself.
 
i dont want to buy a monitor that in 2 years ill have to replace to get one that supports DVI, if i get the neova i might be compromising but i think id rather have the DVI there for the future.

ill get some pictures of the monitor but not my setup as its a complete mess
 
The AG Neovo ia a good all rounder and it has DVI too. Just waiting to see if Overclockers will include it in the 'This Week Only' section!! Hope they do as i will definitely buy one then!!

But on the other hand, is DVI necessary? Some people say they can't see a difference at all and a lot of it depends on the graphics card and/or monitor. After considering the Neovo for a while, i think i'm going for the 913N because it's a Samsung, and it has better picture quality compared to the Neovo despite only having VGA. Also thought of buying a 17" with DVI as opposed to 19" with VGA, but i'll still probably go with the 19" VGA Samsung because people praise them.

I wouldn't say the Samsung has a better picture quality than the Neovo....
