I'm looking for a non-curved 24" monitor for around £200. It will be used for all sorts really - mostly web browsing, Youtube, some gaming and watching some movies.

I've dabbled with idea of getting a Samsung Odyssey G3, which would fit my budget. But the reviews mention the VA panel isn't too good for gaming, despite it being marketed as a gaming monitor. :(

I'd welcome any ideas and suggestions.

OK, so you'd want a g-sync compatible monitor, so that variable refresh rate works with your card.

Here's the link to that category on OCUK, with the £200 limit applied.

There's only 4 options, 1 is TN (which I'd rule out), 1 is VA (which I'd rule out), leaving 2 IPS options. Neither in stock so might have to wait or shop around.
Thanks. I'm not limiting myself to just one shop and I'm happy enough to search for any provided model numbers as @Jay Blizzay has done below. The £200 budget isn't set in stone and there is a bit of give either side I don't think I'd want to spend more than £250, though.

Check out the iiyama red eagle G2470HSU-B1.

Not g sync but works with adaptive sync.

IPS panel with 165hz refresh rate.

I have one which I paid around £120 for and I can't really fault it at that price. Only downside is that it's not height adjustable.

I might have tried that if it were height adjustable, but thanks for putting it to me.

No worries, not sure if you had a chance to check the YouTube review but they also do a height adjustable version of the same monitor, product code is GB2470HSU.

Should still be comfortably under budget.

Bumping this thread because I'm still looking. Though I've decided I should probably bump up my budget to a maximum of £300 to get something I'll be happy with.

Some time ago I tried the Dell S2421HGF, but the blacks looked muddy - as in brownish looking - so that was sent back.

I then tried a Samsung Odyssey AG320 LS24AG320NUXXU but the ghosting on this was horrific. Although I much preferred the image quality of the VA panel compared to the Dell's TN panel - I just wish the ghosting wasn't as bad as it was.

Open to recommendations please.
