Hi Guys,

I'm playing lots of overwatch these days and I'm getting fed up of 60hz on a 5 years old Dell IPS, I did used to have 120hz years ago for battlefield 3 which I loved, so I'd like to look into something for Overwatch, preferably 144hz,

Does anyone have any opinion on the best 144hz monitor for something like Overwatch? I'm currently thinking any of these would be great;

Yeah I quite like the look of it, trouble is I've never seen any of these, so picking one will be a bit of a gamble - although if it's anything like the 120hz monitor i had a while back, I'm sure it'll be awesome!

What GPU and CPU do you have?

Also, have you considered 240hz monitors? They would offer the best gaming experience in fast paced games, such as overwatch.

However, they would likely have worse colour accuracy than your IPS monitor. It all depends on what you think is best (response times and motion clarity v colour accuracy).

This is my most played game and I went for 1440p 144 Hz. High FPS is more important than high resolution, so 4K isn't the best idea. Unless they've changed things recently, Overwatch crops vertically rather than expanding vertically when using 21:9, so that's out the window too. So that leaves 1080p or 1440p, 144 Hz monitors. I went with the latter because it's easy to drive this game at 1440p even with my RX 480, plus it's great for other applications.

I also went for FreeSync because I hate stutter and tearing.

Asus MG279Q but I have to deal with backlight bleed. A TN equivalent would avoid that but they were barely any cheaper to be honest and going from VA to TN just felt like a backwards step. If all you do is gaming though, TN would work great.
