I'm thinking of moving to a triple monitor setup but I'm not sure which monitors to go with.

I was tempted by the 120Hz Samsung's that have the cashback offer, but I currently own a Samsung monitor and it has put me off owning any more.

I'm not really sure that I need 3D. So if I were to go with a non-3D monitor, what's my best option?

Smaller bezel is preferable.

Having already been down the triple monitor route the best advice i can give is go for led due to power consumption and heat, on a warm day 3 lcd screens will put quite a bit of heat out giving your face a nice sun tan, i wouldnt worry to much about the thickness of the bezels as you dont realy notice them when your playing, oh and buy 3 of the same monitors preferably from the same batch

ah, didn't see this thread as I have just created one msyelf.

Have owned lots of monitors over the last six months, but looking for eyefinity.

Stay away from active 3D as you need a dual-dvi adapter. If the monitor doesn't have a DP (which it probably won't) then you have to spend £75 for an adapter. This is especially bad if your graphics card only has a single dual-DVI port (which most new series do) as you have to then buy two...so that's another £150 added to the cost.

Always better to buy a triple stand as well for cable management, and you can use a much smaller desk as the side monitors can go over the edges. It also looks way cooler than just sitting three on the desk. I've found one for £100 which looks good.

The monitors themselves......mmmmm. That's the tricky part.

If money was no object, then the dell 24" 16:10 panels as they look much bigger adding to the effect of eyefinity and also have a DP port on. They are expensive though at £230 each.

The cheap samsung on the no vat doesn't have a vesa bracket either which is a pain
